Ferrari SF90 Stradale: Electric all-wheel drive

With the SF90 Stradale, the Italian vehicle manufacturer will enter the world of electromobility. However, anyone who expected this entry to take place slowly is mistaken. Instead, Ferrari is venturing not only into new, but also extreme fields with the standard plug-in hybrid. Thanks to its total of four engines, the SF90 Stradale delivers a powerful 1000 hp. Only the electric range is not yet so convincing.

It should already happen by next year. Ferrari will not only launch the first plug-in hybrid in its company history in 2020, but also the most powerful model ever produced in Maranello. The SF90 Stradale, whose name is supposed to commemorate the foundation of the Scuderia 90 years ago, draws most of its power from a four-litre V8 turbo with a powerful 780 hp. The remaining 220 hp are supplied by the three additional electric motors. In this way, the SF90 Stradale reaches 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, while the top speed is 340 km/h. Less convincing, however, is the range of the electric motors. Future owners of the SF90 Stradale will have to make do with a pure electric range of 25 kilometres per charge.
